Picpoul is an ancient grape variety from the Languedoc, the name translated means lip stinger and when tasted you know why. It is fresh, zesty with high acidity which is ideal for its perfect partner, mussels!

The white is the most commonly used in its own right and the red is occasionally used as a small addition to the blend of Chateauneuf du Pape.
