To show the beauty of this region we have chosen to show case a producer with this six bottles case, featuring two of each wines.

Founded in 1513 by Pierre-Etienne Mellot, the Joseph Mellot story in Sancerre has always been led by a member of the family. Today, Catherine Corbeau Mellot watches over it attentively with the hope of passing it on one day to her sons. Catherine carries on her late husband’s work and leads the Joseph Mellot vineyard on to greater success. Her main goal is to introduce great vineyards, produce wines with strong personalities and to market them in an innovative, international way, while taking care to protect the environment.

2 x Destinéa Sauvignon Blanc Loire, France The classic white grape of Loire famous for producing Sancerre and Pouilly Fume. This is elegant and floral on the nose, with hints of lemon and grapefruit. The palate shows good aromatics and balance.

2 x Destinéa Pinot Noir Rosé Loire, France A quintessential French Rosé with notes of beautiful peach and red berries. The grapes are pressed very slowly and racked gently to preserve delicacy to create this dry style of rose.

2 x Destinéa Pinot Noir Loire, France Notes of black fruits and a round, supple palate, this is ideal for drinking with grilled meats or game dishes. As we move in to the warmer months, this is a red that could also be served slightly chilled to enjoy with grilled fish, pate and even a red berry tart!
