Bakers Dozen “Spring Edition” has lots of new wines to explore, such as the Spanish grape Viura blended with the more popular Sauvignon Blanc. Taste the delicious Australian Shiraz as we start thinking about lighting the BBQ! Perfect for sunny days and chilly Spring nights.

White Wine

1 x Estampado White, Agrentina Palomino, Pedro Ximenez and Torrontes re picked at night to retain the lovely freshness of the grapes. A mouthwatering wine that offers lovely floral aromas, zesty citrus with soft peach and apricots. Works well with pasta dishes and grilled chicken.

1 x Conviviale Pinot Grigio, Italy Pinot Grigio from the cool hills of Vento from old vines, aged on lees to add body to the wine. Rich orchard fruits with a touch of honey and peach. A lovely textured wine with apples and pears.

1 x Primordial Soup White, South Africa From old bush vines and all hand picked, a tiny amount of the wine is aged in barrel to give a lovely texture to the wine. Lots of juicy fleshy fruit with lemon, stone fruits and jasmine with a tangy finish.

1 x Araldica Cortesa, Italy The same grape that makes the famous Gavi wine. This gives fresh fruit of lemons grapefruit, with a really juicy finish and length. Great with shell fish

1 x Cape Height Sauvignon Blanc A delicious vibrant sauvignon blanc from the coastal region of the Western cape which are dry farmed and cool fermentation. Rich yellow fruit plums with fresh limes and stone fruit with lovely leafy herbal notes which make it very quaffable!


1 x Cuvee Jean Paul Gascogne Rose, France An elegant dry rose made from the local grape tannat, with cabernet franc and merlot, resulting in lots of crushed red berry fruits. Delicate aromas with lovely burst of fruits and a long refreshing finish.

Red Wine

1 x Estampado Bonardo Cabernet, Argentina Showing different grapes grown in Argentina (not just malbec!) Bonarda and cabernet sauvignon are well suited to the warm and dry climate of Barrancas region in Argentina. Producing a scrumptious full bodied red wine delicious with roast meats.

1 x Primordial Soup Red, South Africa A perfect wine to accompany any BBQ or Braai – if you are going full South African! Packed with fruits, rich and smooth with a creamy summer pudding texture and a fresh cranberry tang finish.

1 x Cuvee Jean-Paul Vaucluse, France Classic Rhone red, friendly warming, sweet rich juicy fruit adorned with spice of Grenache sprinkled with Syrah, lusciously textured plum and strawberry fruit rounds off the palate.

1 x El Tesoro Monastrell Shiraz, Spain Rich and warming perfect for autumn, ripe plums, blackberries with a touch of coffee and spice. Leading to a black fruit finish and black pepper spice. Great with pasta meatballs and pasta dishes.

1 x Ancora Sangiovese, Italy This Sangiovese grape has been grown in the heel of Italy, with no oak so just pure fruit. Lush red berry fruit, with deeper blackberry notes with a touch of black pepper spice and oozing tangy acidity.

1 x Cape Heights Pinotage, South Africa The classic South African grape, pinotage. Grown on rich granite soil from Swartland, stainless steel ageing with malolatic fermentation to add a lovely roundness to the wine. Youthful, vibrant wine packed with damsons and dark berry fruits with layers of spice and star anise.
