Since the Wine Shop has opened our Portuguese wine section has grown to show the diversity that Portugal has to offer. Portugal is famous for its fortified wines of the Douro and a region not only steeped in history and production of quality wine it has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Wine is not just made in the Douro, wine is made all over Portugal with an array of different indigenous grape varieties, giving many different styles. Throughout the Portuguese Festival we will be showing casing these wines, through a wine tasting, wine dinner and our Saturday tasting benches so that you can taste, learn and discover these wonderful wines.
