Somerset has a long heritage with cider production however do you know one apple variety to another and what flavour characterises each one gives? Do you know why Somerset is so good at the production of apples and cider?

Many famous wines of the world are blends of grapes such as Champagne and Châteauneuf-du-Pape and over time we have learnt to understand the grapes that are in the blend and what each grape offers.

Richard will be here to explain the differences in apples and break it down so we get to appreciate the vast difference between the apple varieties and of course get to taste one or two!
