White Wines

1 x Tananga Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand

A Marlborough New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc has to feature in a May Bank Holiday case! Perfect wine for everyone to enjoy! Pure, flavourful and intense with aromas and flavours of passion fruit and grass. This is well structured with integrated acidity and a nice rounded palate.

1 x Catarratto Contrade Bellusa, Sicily

A fantastic and expressive organic wine from Sicily. Organic catarratto grapes grown on volcanic soil. Bursting with citrus fruits, lemons, grapefruit and orange blossom. A wine that has become popular which is great to enjoy a glass but a perfect wine to enjoy with light dishes

1 x False Bay Chenin Blanc, South Africa

Skilful winemaking using natural yeast for the fermentation. Ripe apple aromas, honeyed aromatics, greengage and citrus lemon acidity on the long finish. Wine with great finesse and style. Perfect match with a variety of spring dishes as it is packed with tonnes of flavour.

Red Wines

1 x Primitivo Doppio Passo, Italy

Currently the most popular red wine, great value and great wine! Careful selection in the vineyard with two pickings to ensure the best and ripest berries are chosen. Deliciously smooth wine from the heel of Italy, offering juicy red plums and cherries with a touch of rich darker fruits, warm rounded with soft silky tannins.

1 x Old Station Malbec, Arentina

I think the second most popular wine and grape at the shop! Much like the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, you have to have an Argentinian Malbec for you and your guests to enjoy over Bank Holiday. A rich bodied malbec full of rich fruit. Blackberrys, plums with a touch of spice.

1 x Carignan Vieilles Vignes Roche de Belanne, France

Somethung a bit different but extremly popular. A wine produced with Carignan grapes are harvested from 50 year old bush vines. The grapes are grown on the chalky red soils just nor h of Beizer in the Languedoc region. Vibrant bramble fruit, blackcurrant and red cherries, soft tannin with a bright finish.
